I recommend turning all fleece items inside out to give them a more thorough wash.
Brush/hoover off as much loose hair/hay etc as possible.
Then wash at 30c/40c using a sensitive nonbio detergent. (DO NOT ADD CONDITIONER AS THIS WILL AFFECT THE FABRICS WICKING CAPABILITIES).
Using some white wine vinegar in the wash cycle can be useful for neutrilising odor on your items.
Also a splash of a scented pet safe deoderiser/disinfectant can also be added.

Once washed, take out your machine and turn the item back the right way if needed. Reshape and line/air dry.

For the longevity of your products, I recommend line/air drying all of your items, although you can tumble dry on a low heat setting if need be.

Here at Piggie Paws, I am always happy to help with any custom order.

Fleece items are reusable making them a very eco-friendly option. They can be used and washed, over and over, without losing shape or condition. These products are built to last. Using fleece has health benefits for your piggies too. No dusty shavings and lots less mess. The fleece is super soft under those precious piggie paws and wicks away any moisture to the lower layers, preventing your piggie from ever laying on wet bedding.
